Heaven’s Cafe

Heaven’s Cafe is a free community dinner on the last Friday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Carthage Christian Church fellowship hall (please use the entrance off 73rd Street). All are welcome. Heaven’s Cafe is a shared ministry of Carthage Christian and Wyoming Baptist churches.

Counseling and pastoral care

Carthage Christian Church is committed to reaching out to the community with support, and giving access to a counselor during stressful or difficult times. Navigating the various social service networks, such as Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, child and family service agencies, can be difficult. We can help guide and direct you in accessing the needed services. If you would like to talk with a pastor or make an appointment, call (513) 218-8819 or email us.

Food, clothing, and other essentials

We are also a sponsoring partner in Valley Interfaith Food & Clothing Center. Valley Interfaith provides food, clothing, and some limited emergency financial assistance, and other services to people in the Mill Creek Valley area of Cincinnati, which includes Arlington Heights, Carthage, Elmwood Place, Finneytown, Hartwell, Lincoln Heights, Lockland, Reading, Sharonville (on referral), St. Bernard, Woodlawn, and Wyoming. Valley Interfaith serves more than 18,000 people a year.

Outreach beyond the local community

Carthage Christian Church supports disaster relief and development work in the United States and all over the world through The Heifer Project and Week of Compassion.

Interested in starting a ministry?

We encourage our members to consider how God calls each of us to carry on the ministry and mission of Jesus. Is God calling you to start a new ministry? We’d love to talk with you about it to see if we can help.
