There is no cost for the kids to participate (adults must pay for their own shoes and bowling). We could use a few drivers and chaperones, so let Pastor Rebecca know if you are interested.

Speaking of Coffee Hour, we invite everyone to bring a covered dish or dessert to share, and come enjoy food and fellowship after church. We have Coffee Hour on the first Sunday of every month.

Hope to see you Sunday!

YOU are invited to Heaven’s Cafe — a free dinner gathering on the last Friday of each month. Our next Heaven’s Cafe is this Friday, March 25 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Carthage Christian Church Fellowship Hall (please use the entrance on 73rd St. to the left of the sanctuary). We hope that you’ll come and bring your friends and family, because we have plenty of food, prepared and served by caring people.

Heaven’s Cafe is a partnership between Wyoming Baptist and Carthage Christian churches. You might wonder, why are they offering a free meal?

First, simply because there are hungry people in our city and our community, especially toward the end of the month when money is tight. As followers of Jesus, feeding the hungry is part of what we are called to do.

Second, because we want to get to know our neighbors better and make everyone feel welcome. People are lonely. Many in our community live in isolation, especially if they don’t have a vehicle. Our hope is that once a month, maybe more often, we can provide a safe and familiar place for people to gather, share a meal together, and get to know each other. You don’t need to dress up, and there’s no need to bring anything except your self.

Hopefully, those are reasons enough to convince you to stop by. But if you have any questions, contact Pastor Woods at 513-706-5664.
